Japan Or Gold Paper? (Autumn)

RM600

30cm x 30cm

Mixed Medium on Canvas (framed)

Cody made an exciting discovery with his paintbrushes.  He noticed that by changing how light or fast he moved his brush, he could create different shapes and patterns across the canvas.  When given gold paper, he remarked, "Is this gold paper expensive? Why not we just use the money to go to Japan instead?" Knowing how much he loves the color gold, his mum bought it especially for him to use on his artwork.

Cody tilted and turned his canvas, watching the paint dance across the surface in every direction!  He loved seeing the colors flow naturally to form playful lines and surprise textures.  Layer by layer, he turned the canvas around, thrilled by how the colors and grid patterns blended together.  As usual, he likes to add a touch of gold in his work.

Cody made an exciting discovery: by placing paint along just one edge of the canvas, he could watch it cascade freely all the way down!  As cool streams of green and blue dripped across the page, he lovingly added touches of gold — his favorite color — making them look like delicate golden leaves and blooming flowers floating in the breeze.  It was pure magic watching his creation come to life.

Cody loves to paint straight from his heart and try out fun, new ideas!  He happily dropped his favorite colors onto the canvas and scraped them across using a simple piece of cardboard.  Then, with a layer of dark black paint and one more gentle scrape, hidden shapes and surprise details suddenly appeared.
