Kritika is naturally a bit shy. When she first started lessons, she’d whisper what she wanted to draw to her mom, who would then tell me.  But when she’s drawing Pinkie Pie from My Little Pony, her smile says everything her words don’t.  If you ask her why she likes that character so much, she’ll just say, "I don’t know," but you can see the real answer in how much she lights up while she works.

Kritika and Kaye-Leigh have become great friends during their art lessons. They have this sweet habit of complimenting each other’s work every few minutes.  Kritika sees them as a duo: she’s the Ladybug character from Miraculous, and Kaye-Leigh (who everyone calls "Cat Girl") is Cat Noir. Just like the characters in the movie, they’re the best of friends.

Kritika has such a big heart. She doesn't always use words to show she’s happy; instead, she draws the people she cares about.  This piece shows Teacher Amar and Kaye-Leigh hanging out with some ants.

Kritika is a girl with few words but her imagination is not limited.  Given the theme of a garden she used colours by instinct and naturally.  She likes to outline her works and uses dots to create patterns.  Her choice of colours are always vibrant and bright.

For this piece, Kritika explored a different approach to the garden theme.  She experimented with an abstract style, moving away from her usual outlines and forms to see what she could create through color and texture alone.
