Winsen's Gallery (b.2018) Finding Joy In Every Stroke

"Winsen is non-verbal, and while communicating can sometimes be a challenge, he has found his own unique way to share his world with us. When he first joined our lessons, his hands were very stiff, often held in tight fists. Watching his progress has been truly moving.

By using his wrists, sponges, and even tapping with his fingers, Winsen has discovered how to create beautiful art. Today, his hands are much more flexible, allowing him to move and create with more freedom.

The best part of our day is seeing Winsen’s face light up. When he is happy with his work, his laughter and bright smile fill the entire room with joy. Beyond the art itself, he is also growing in other ways—learning to recognize shapes and the names of the many colors he uses to express himself."
